The director will encourage college journalists and their advisors to broaden and deepen their investigative reportage on student issues by promoting student media, offering training programs, sharing updates over a national news wire and outreaching to faculty, academic advisors and college journalists.

Responsibilities include developing campaign plans; innovating strategies and tactics; developing long- and short-term congressional district-by-district plan for media, coalitions, lobbying, and grassroots; manage state-based field staff; document campaign results. The position is based in Washington, DC.
